I figured the location being close to the beach would be great but phase ii island is under lots of construction and doesn't have the services that phase I has so this is a great location if you want steps. The noise from construction and the road noise was constant. The room cooled well, but the bathroom stayed a little warm. "This is a beautiful island and well worth a visit. The waterfront villas were perfect and had everything you could possibly need. Food was excellent, and that included the buffet breakfast, buffet lunch and buffet dinner. There was plenty of choice and it was great quality too. We also used all 4 of the à la carte restaurants which were also excellent. The beaches were wonderful and the sea was the typical turquoise green as you see in the photos of the Maldives. Pools also looked great, although we didn’t use them. The island is about 2km in circumference and very easy and enjoyable to walk around. You could request golf buggy transportation whenever you needed it which was very useful. Drinks and extras were expensive if you were not on an all inclusive package (US$14 for a beer) so that is something to be aware of. Apart from that, a perfect tropical island retreat! 🏝️"
