PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE. My wife and I were hoping for a simple quiet evening before an early start in Sequoia NP. That did not happen. Our neighbors were terribly loud, and I asked the Property Staff if we could move to a different room. They said they would call the neighbors and tell them to "be quiet," which only made them more belligerent and increase their noise level. My wife and I hard a very difficult time falling asleep, and were woken up by their slamming doors and barking dogs. I called the Staff again, and they went and knocked on the neighbors door, and my wife and I overheard an exchange where the neighbor yelled at the owner, bullied him until he left. My wife and I were afraid to leave our room at this point now that the neighbors were so agitated. The staff called us and said we could move to a different room, but we would have to pay a fee to do so. I wish we could have just moved to a different room from the start rather than having this situation escalate, and I was perplexed that they would charge us to move to another room. When I asked the next day if they could meet halfway for a partial refund based on our experience, I was brushed aside and hung up on when I tried to call later. I have never had such impersonal and cold service from any lodging experience. PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE. There are plenty of other fine looking lodging options in Three Rivers to explore Sequoia.

Upon arrival at 1am after a long day of driving I came up to this motel with my family to see no lights on, apparently they don’t have electricity during many hours of the night. This should have been the first red flag. Luckily since we were hiking we had some flashlights and sleeping bags. I knew this was a motel when I booked but the least I expected were the sheets to be washed in our room. They were covered in what looked like human body fluids. The toilet was covered in urine and the shower extremely cracked. We had to strip the bed and laid down our sleeping bags. We literally camped inside a motel room. The room we were put in had tons of dead bugs and there was spilled wax all over the kitchenette and floor. We barely slept and got up at 6am when the national park opened and left. I called later to complain but they couldn’t do anything for me since I didn’t do it in person, even when I send photos of everything they basically said too bad. Live and learn!

Die Unterkunft war gut Zentral zum Sequoia-Nationalpark. Aber dann hört es auch schon auf. Alles sehr runter gekommen und ungepflegt. Eigentlich schade, weil die Lage sehr schön ist und die Anlage schön groß. Aber es ist alles leider ( vor allem im Außenbereich ) sehr kaputt und dreckig. Wir waren zu 4 mit 2 Zimmern und würden da nicht mehr buchen.

I got confused with the name. Best Western is a hotel chain. Holiday Inn is a hotel chain. Western Holiday hotel is neither.

Très bon motel, proche de sequoia park (-30 minutes). Micro onde, frigo et cafetière apprécié dans la chambre. Bonne literie. Piscine ouverte l’été !

It was a good location for what we needed. Enjoyed the river view and the kids playground. There's no breakfast included though as the sign says. Not the friendliest staff but no problems. We would stay there again if in the area .

Really great location and beautiful view and nature around. It’s warmer in the night than in areas near the forest. Still close to the forest and on the way market, restaurants and all staff that you need for winter trip to the mountains. Staff it’s really helpful. The room is clean and comfortable.

We checked in, and the first room they gave us had someone else’s belongings making us think that we got a room that was already taken. Towards the restroom, there were dead bugs littered throughout the floor and on the sink. There was also spider webs and live spiders towards the ceiling. The couches and chairs were noticeably dirty and had dust on them. And there was a lift outside the balcony which someone could easily traverse to get to the balcony. We asked to be moved to a different room. We entered the second room, and checked it out. By the door there were both dead bugs and live bugs - that resembled bed bugs. We left immediately and the receptionist didn’t seem surprised.

Everything it’s good , only little think when I book it Ofer brake fast and thats false so that change my budget drastically, restaurants on area are very expensive , if it’s no part of the package that’s ok but don’t Ofer it on the website or the book in the room.

Great place to spend the night
The drive at night was so scary! But check in was a breeze. The morning after we got a chance to see some great views from the property itself. Drive up to Sequoia was about 15min which was amazing.

This hotel has a location close to the river that is great, but the good stops there. Missing photos on the wall, ripped curtains, pool, hot tub area, closed with tiles, missing and broken, junk piled everywhere on back of property, which was our view. It took a long time to actually check in as well. I would not recommend this hotel.

We were able to check in early which was nice but the average cleanliness of the hotel was below average. Continental breakfast is advertised but not provided which was disappointing. People are friendly, but ran into a lot of issues such as leaking pipes, cards continually not working properly, and lack of daily housekeeping.

Surprisingly modern inside
The rooms were very nice, quiet, it is clear there is a lot of effort underway to update the rooms.
