We absolutly enjoyed our stay at Comfort Inn Sequoia/Kings Canyon. The place all around was pleasant-clean, friendly staff, with really good breakfast.

Clean and updated, good continental breakfast with many options, reasonable driving distance from the Sequoia National Park . The TV connection did not work even after the staff promptly came to fix it. We were too tired at the end of the day, and a break from TV was actually welcome during vacation, so we didn’t try again to ask for help.

The property is in an amazing place and very practical. But the pictures are really well made, the hotel is dated, the carpet dirty. Overall a good, but the price for the amenities does not match.

Location is very conveniently located on the local highway to Sequoia National Park in the city of Rivers. Its within walking distance to local grocery or convenience store as well as dinjng options

Several comments about the property: 1. The AC did not work properly, it would not cool the room 2. Housekeeping comes to clean only every 3 days 3. We (and other people) had trouble using the electronic door keys 4. The newer building entire first floor smelled like marijuana 5. Our room smelled bad 6. The covered walkway by the washing machines smelled like urine 7. There were a few long hairs on and under the bedspread 8. There was garbage on the grounds throughout the property 9. The pet fee was $50 per night, which was excessive, and there were no designated pet relief areas 10. The nightly rate was high for the quality provided 11. The breakfast was good with hot eggs and meat and a variety of food and drinks

This place was terrible. The room has a bad smell. No room cleaning between nights. Bed was in poor shape. Had some dead bugs on the floor. You would think for 200 a night it would be a lot nicer. Disappointed

The place was clean. The free breakfast was good with several choices. The pool and jacuzzi were nice and in working order. They had yard games poolside which was a nice extra. 10 minutes from park entrance.

It is a decent simple place, and convenient to main roads. It is also at the entrance of the Sequoia park. There is only a Pizza and Mexican in close proximity, so plan to come into town at a decent hour or you will not find anything to eat.

I would not recommend you stay in this hotel, supposedly breakfast was included and when me and my family walked down for breakfast at 8:30am (1 hour prior the cut off time) there was no breakfast left, no eggs, no bread, just a super long waiting line to get waffles, there was not enough seating available, people was eating standing up. Also when we were back to our room still hungry our electronic key stopped working, we could not get into our room, we needed to go to the lobby to get them fixed, check out time was at 11am and keys stopped working at 9am. Very disappointed of our stay, the smell inside the room was also bad, like humid.

Employees in the front office are not that friendly… Room is ok… the tv remote sensor was located in the back of the tv so it was hard to navigate at first.. but we figure it out eventually thanks to us being SMART.. Breakfast was good,, waffle was the best breakfast.. Over all it was ok.

This property was pricey for how out dated it was. The internet kicks you off every hour or so and you can hear everything the rooms around you are doing. Luckily the people in the room above us were quick.
