Stopped on my drive home from a weekend trip and spotted this pier leading to the lake. At this point it was already snowing pretty hard and there was a crispness in the air to give a hint of the upcoming winter months.

I went to Finland in 2016 with a friend who sells Carelian Caviar all over the world, to see and shoot their production facilities in Varkhaus. We stayed in lovely apartments in Porosalmi. While my friend with his clients were apparently enjoying going back and forth from sauna to frozen lake, I decided instead to explore the local area. Little did I know that the sign was actually saying private property.
