"We booked this resort specifically because it was advertised as a resort with a waterpark. The waterpark was the entire reason we chose to stay here, as we were looking forward to our kids being able to enjoy it during our trip. Unfortunately, after arriving, we were informed that the waterpark was closed. This was extremely disappointing and should have been clearly communicated before booking or at least prior to arrival.
To make matters worse, the elevator closest to our room was also out of service. Since we were staying on the 5th floor, this created a major inconvenience. We either had to walk all the way to the other side of the complex just to find a working elevator or take the stairs up and down five flights. Traveling with children made this even more frustrating.
Overall, the stay did not meet expectations, especially considering the amenities we booked the resort for were unavailable. Transparency about closures and better maintenance of essential facilities would have made a huge difference in our experience."
