The first night we arrived and there was no power to the property. We contacted the owner who essentially said there is nothing they could do. We asked if they had candles, wood, flashlights emergency supplies.. they did not have any of the above. We went out and had to purchase all of the above items. We then tried to still stay at the property. it took only 2 hours for the property to drop below 60F at what point even with the wood burning stove, the property was not inhabitable. We then need to leave and pay for a hotel for us and our guests. We returned the following day, to find that power had been restored. We started to use the property and found a lot of things in poor condition. The foosball table is broken and inoperable. The air hockey table cannot be played, as the puck does not stay on the surface. The Door for the main bathroom is a pocket door that does not close, offering no privacy to the bathroom on the main floor. We then later tried to use the sauna, which we also found was not operable. We reached out the owner once again and were told " you should have told us it wasn't working, we could have sent someone to fix it". Ignoring the fact that, in this case this was us informing them it wasn't working, and clearly they weren't going to send someone. When were we supposed to notice this earlier, when the power wasn't working?
