With the exception of the pool attendants, cleaning staff, the entire staff were rude, inconsiderate, inconsistent and disrespectful. I have been traveling to Miami for over 15 years and have never been treated in such a manner. The wait staff were extremely rude to me, however I saw how they treated white couples and men better than I was treated.

I’ve stayed at many Kimpton locations, and the Kimpton EPIC Hotel definitely met my expectations. I stayed in a suite. Even though it wasn’t specified as ocean view, I was still able to see the bay and watch all of the boats pass through the canal and under the drawbridges. The staff were very kind and accommodating. The pool area was pleasant with an ample amount of seating. The restaurant seemed lively even though I didn’t get a chance to stop in. I ordered room service for breakfast and it came in a timely fashion. I would definitely stay here again.
