The hotel is located in a beautiful private bay with crystal-clear water and soft sand. The property is surrounded by a forest, and it was lovely to see peacocks walking around. The pool is very well designed for children, with a gradual slope that makes it safe and fun.
The food was tasty, although the variety was limited. The rooms were nice, but since the hotel is spread across a large hillside, reaching the rooms at the top could take a while because there were not enough buggy cars available.
Unfortunately, room cleanliness needs improvement. Our room had ants everywhere, even in the bed. There were also a huge number of mosquitoes, and despite bringing different insect repellents, we were constantly bitten. This was the biggest problem during our stay.
Each room had assigned sunbeds on the beach, but ours were in the last row, apparently because of our room category, which didn’t seem fair. We also wanted to order drinks to our room one evening but were told there was no room service.
The kids’ club was another disappointment. It closed very early, and the staff started cleaning before 5 p.m., making the children feel unwelcome. One older staff member was also unfriendly and didn’t seem suited to working with children.
Overall, the location is stunning and the hotel has great potential. If the rooms were cleaner and the mosquito problem was properly addressed, I would definitely consider staying here again
