We loved staying at Mikansei! Our room was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed ourselves in the shared spaces, including the kitchen, bathrooms, and communal areas. The staff is very friendly. The bathroom has shampoo, conditioner, and liquid soap. There is a small refrigerator available; make sure to turn on the dedicated switch to power up the refrigerator. A yutaka is available for use. The hotel has a nice bathhouse! There are washing machines & dryers available on site. The breakfast is amazing- a large selection to choose from. The hotel has a restaurant. The closest restaurant outside the hotel is a Yoshinoya.

Awesome architectural and design wonder. Friendly, interesting, conversational host. Played Flamenco guitar, talked music, design, and math with us. Also had a great conversation about the local area and some of the cool people who live in the town. Overall a unique and amazing experience! Thanks!

It was such a lovely house. It was so nice to have all the space for everyone in the family, and at the same time the games and kitchen allowed us to have more family time together.

This Ryokan was absolutely perfect. Train station literally across the street. Quiet area and the property itself was spectacular. Rooms were spacious, food was delicious. Also, onsen near the lake was peaceful. I would highly recommend staying here.
