The room was very clean and comfortable. Staff were mostly friendly but some were not. Food was reasonably priced, although they weren't transparent with breakfast charges. Lakefront Lodge Taupo
We stayed in the basic room. It was very small but adequate. The room was clean, the bed was firm and the walls are nit sound proofed in any way. Having stayed in many similar hotels in Taupo, the standard of the Lakefront is comparable with them. It was great to be relatively close to town.
