"This was our first time in El Salvador. We really weren't sure what we were getting ourselves into at this location, but we wanted a local experience. Boy did we get it!!! We hardly saw any "tourists" at all while in Playa El Pimental. The beach was basically all ours. The house was exactly as described, and the pool was refreshing and clean. Eva and Alex were very attentive to our needs despite the language barrier. Knowing Spanish or having a translation app is highly recommended. Alex even placed some open coconuts on the outside bar for us a few mornings. Don't worry if you drive in and don't see many nearby restaurants. At dinner time, many families bring their grill out to the street and make various local items for sale. There are several small tiendas along the road for water, snacks and sodas. I'd recommend stopping in San Luis Talpa for any adult beverages you may want before arriving at the house. We can't wait to return!!!!"
