Upon arrival, the keypad on the front door did not work. There was trash and cigarette butts throughout the outside grounds of the property.
There were a number of maintenance issues as follows
Main House:
Missing plastic shower curtain in guest bathroom
Dead bugs throughout
Spiderwebs throughout
Broken sink & shower drain in front bathroom
Broken towel rack in back bathroom
No kitchen sponges to wash dishes
Loose doorknob in 4th bathroom, unable to open/close the door
Casita:
No kitchen garbage can
Broken window in the casita door,shattered glass shards
Broken window crank in kitchen & bathroom window
Leaking Fridge
Dead bugs throughout
Broken Lampshade in bedroom
Loose doorknob to bathroom
Broken light switch in main living space
In addition to the above, the following items are advertised though did not work:
TVs did not have cable access as advertised,
Casita swamp cooler was barely able to provide some cool air in the main living space
Main House swamp cooler can only cool kitchen/living space, not entire home
While attempting to remediate during our stay, we learned that nearly the entire list of issues were KNOWN prior to our arrival. As shared, I had hoped to remediate with the homeowners and unfortunately, it took well over a week after check out to receive a two sentence response that “They (homeowners) also feel that Terra (house manager) has given a valid explanation for each of the items.”
