Disappointing experience – not worth the price

We had high expectations given the price, which is comparable to international chains like Sofitel, but the experience fell far short. The breakfast was very basic, with limited variety and low-quality options. The mattress in our room was saggy and uncomfortable. The kids’ room was noticeably cold, even with the heating on. The pool was overcrowded and the water was not clear, which made it unpleasant to use. The restaurant was also disappointing – the quality of the food did not match the price or the setting. There was also a ping-pong table, but it was broken. None of the balls bounced properly, and the paddles were in very poor condition. Additionally, we were charged VAT (IVA) separately, even though the invoice from the hotel only reflected the total amount already paid through hotels.com. It seems the VAT was included in the original price, but we were charged for it again upon check-in. This practice is not transparent and leaves us a very poor impression. Overall, the facilities and service did not match the price point. A real shame – it reflects badly on Argentine tourism.

Entorno natural soñado

A sólo 5 km del centro de Tandil, el entorno natural en el que está emplazada la Hostería La Cascada es simplemente maravilloso: sierras, varias hectáreas de campo con la más variada vegetación y plantas con un pequeño arroyo que cruza para completar la postal. En el predio hay animales: caballos, llamas, burros, ovejitas y un corral con algunas aves y conejos. Nuestro bungalow tenía una vista privilegiada; fue un placer amanecer, y contemplar ese paisaje cada mañana. Respecto de los servicios, el desayuno es súper completo y de excelente calidad, muy bien servido. El bungalow superior nos resultó muy cómodo y la limpieza del mismo fue impecable. El personal es sumamente amable; destacamos la atención de Milagros, Nicolás y Karina que nos asesoraron y atendieron con una sonrisa en todo momento. El restaurant tiene un carta un tanto acotada, pero con platos sabrosos y hay de todo un poco. También se puede pedir room service. Las instalaciones del lugar funcionan perfectamente, y están, en general, en buenas condiciones de mantenimiento. Lo recomendamos y volveríamos mil veces!

Estadía mala. Incómodo

Mi estadía fue mala. El anuncio de HOTELES.COM dice ESTACIONAMIENTO y WIFI. No tienen estacionamiento. Son bungalow, no tienen para estacionar autos. hay un lugar para estacionar vehículos y queda a 80 mt del bungalow que nos adjudicaron. Pedí uno más cerca me dijeron que no. En los bungalow NO HAY WIFI. Sólo en lugares comunes. Es muy incómodo.

Muy buena predisposición de todo el personal y el lugar muy bien puesto. Le falta mantenimiento, tiene detalles de pintura dentro y fuera de las habitaciones, y otras cositas que se podrían arreglar que por la categoría no debería pasar. No había agua caliente en las duchas de los vestuarios. No están preparados para tener ocupación completa. Reservamos en el restaurante y cuando llegamos no tenían mesa ya que se había presentado gente sin reservar. Nos terminaron por prepara una mesa sin mantel y afuera. Se disculparon varias veces por eso.

El lugar es precioso. La atención excelente. Las habitaciones son amplias y cómodas. Los servicios comunes como gimnasio y pileta muy buenos. Estacionamiento cómodo. Restoran excelente. Desayuno muy bueno. Único problema: el baño. Le falta funcionalidad: difícil colgar toallas, no hay dónde apoyar cosas en la ducha y el bide no funcionaba. Compartimentalizado sería más funcional.

Quel endroit magnifique, idéal pour venir se reposer. Étant en voyage, nous y avons séjourné qu’une nuit, mais nous avons très envie d’y retourner pour y passer quelques jours et profiter de ces magnifiques paysages. Un îlot de petites montagnes au milieu de la pampa .

Mas lindo que en las fotos!

El lugar es mas lindo que en las fotos. Pileta con vista a laa sierras. La cabaña que nos toco, era muy linda y comoda, se llama Cedro. Al estar cerca de las zonas comunes aunque a la vez lejos, hace que en la television podamos tener youtobe, ideal para los peques. Desayuno y cena, son topicos apartes. Todo elaboracion propia y abundante. Excelente. cuentan con Pileta climatizada, la que podes utilizar hasta altas horas de la noche. Volveriamos sin dudarlo
