Relax with your family and friends at this peaceful, family-friendly vacation retreat. Watch the peaceful sunset as you relax by the heated pool or the gazebo while grilling dinner for the family. This is a great house to host your next family vacation.
The space
Lake-front private ranch house with screened-in pool and a netted gazebo area for nighttime relaxation, where you can enjoy playing cards or board games with friends and family. The space will welcome you with an open concept throughout the house and plenty of natural light to remind you that you are in the sunshine state.

The house has 4 bedrooms with 5 beds, 1 travel crib & 2 full bathrooms

Fully stocked kitchen with Instant Pot, blender, Cookware, & a coffee station with provided coffee and tea

Lake-front Pool with 2 seating areas and a seating area under the gazebo

A Dining table for 8 individuals and an open concept office suitable for working from home

3 TVs throughout the house, an Alexa speaker, and a high-speed internet

A few short comings

The property listed a hot tub but there was no hot tub. A tub in the bathroom doesn't count as a hot tub. Also, the outdoor furniture was very uncomfortable and there was no umbrella provided if you wanted to sit on the lounging chairs.

Great for family

We had a great week at this property. We used the pool all week, cooked, grilled out and even used chairs provided to go to the beach one day. It was convenient to stores and places to eat. The host was quick in communications. We had no issues

Riverview stay

This property has an outstanding view of a small lake and sunsets. Sandhill cranes and two turtles visited up by the lanai regularly. This is an older home and shows its age in some ways. There were several items that didn't work and weren't fixed (ice maker, one smoke detector, one bike). The pool turned green, which was addressed, but it was out of use for a week of our stay. The owner said if we returned again, these would all be addressed. We really liked the location so near to Tampa and all its amenities and activities. Although close to just lots of retail and restaurants, we found there was a "back way" to many things which avoided a lot of the heavy traffic. If you stay in this area and are looking to attend some of the bigger attractions, like Busch Gardens, ZooTampa, Florida Aquarium and more, most are around 45 minutes away (except during commute times). Also, we highly recommend purchasing a CityPass-Tampa to save considerable money if you plan to go to at least two of them.
