Located in a more colourful section of Taipei city, and a night market (perhaps better than others) on its doorstep, this hotel is a very good base for exploring the city. Lovely deco, staff friendly and efficient, we needed them to sort out Wi-Fi connectivity problem but they did solve it in a few minutes. Other people in the review here complained the difficulties in accessing their rooms, which may be the case actually, but ask the reception staff for the detail regarding the building's security system. Actually, we had no problem. This is a secure building (the hotel occupying only one floor) with a concierge guarding the main entrance door, so it won't go like a grand hotel as you get in and out of the building. But it is safe and well soundproofed. Pricewise, it's rather a good value for money.
