Beautiful detached rural farm cottage in peaceful Easter Ross peninsula.
Balnaha Cottage was completely renovated 2023. Set within the beautiful Easter Ross peninsula, the cottage has open views to the country. Lovely walks from the doorstep, 5 minute drive to Portmahomack or the seaboard villages of Hilton, Balintore and Shandwick. All boasting beautiful beaches.
A perfect base for exploring the north and west coast of Scotland.
Great place to view the northern lights 2 bedrooms-both en-suite. One bedroom can be split into single beds upon request. Travel cot & high hair available on request.

Absolutely stunning property. Stayed for a family wedding in the area so location was just perfect for us. Hosts were super helpful. We really enjoyed everything about this property.Would stay again next time we visit family.

It may have taken some finding but...
...it really was the effort we made to get to the cottage in spite of our SatNav leading us astray! Chevonne was lovely and made my sister and me feel most welcome. The welcome pack was quite fun too! Everywhere was spotless inside the cottage, which in itself was the ideal base to either relax or to visit the local countryside. Would I return to the cottage? Yes, indeed, despite the long drive from Nottingham, where I live.

Amazing
From the monent we walked in to the cottage, we knew it was something special. Spotlessly clean, lovely decor and the facilities provided exceptional. The hamper for us and for our dog were a lovely touch. Chevonne and Duncan were great hosts, Chevonne's communication right from the start was great and it was no problem to her to change our dates when something came up for us. You truly have an amazing place. Would highly recommend Balnaha cottage and its surroundings. We will be back. X
