The apartment is located on a side street of Corso Gelone, the city's commercial hub, with many facilities in the nearby area. For lovers of relaxation and the sea, Eastern Sicily and the area around Syracuse offer everything one could wish for. Starting from the ancient Greek city and heading south, the best-equipped and most beautiful beaches are Minareto, Fanusa, Arenella, and Fontane Bianche, whose name derives from the natural freshwater springs and the white color of the sand. Inside the island of Ortigia, you will also find equipped solariums (Zefiro and Nettuno) and a small free beach called Cala Rossa. Further south, at a distance of about 30 km, you will find beautiful unspoiled and impervious beaches, including Calamosche, Vendicari with its natural wildlife oasis, and the beautiful San Lorenzo. If you are interested in culture, you should visit the Greek Theatre of Syracuse, the Archaeological Park with the Ear of Dionysius, a cave carved into the limestone in the shape of a human ear, the Paolo Orsi Museum, and the Latomie dei Cappuccini, as well as Ortigia itself, with its historical, cultural and natural beauty. Not to be missed is Noto, the seafront with the tuna fishery of Avola, and finally the seaside village of Marzamemi. In short, Sicily is a land to explore, and its natural and cultural beauties are treasures to fill your eyes with.
The accommodation is a five-minute drive from Syracuse train station and an hour's drive from Catania airport.
