The host was very friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable and the breakfast had a great selection of fresh fruit, juice, home made healthy muesli, jams, fruit bread, croissants and soy and almond milk. There was plenty of parking and the grounds were well kept.

A great place for a girls weekend get away. Such a gorgeous house where you can feel the history of its predecessors and enjoy the serenity because it is close enought to dine out and enjoy the mountains natural wonders and shop for antiques and have coffees in quaint places but also have the quiet evenings to chat. A very friendly and accomodating host with a good healthy breakfast to start your day.

This is a great little oasis in Leura, within walking distance from the town but away from the bustle. We had a beautiful Victorian style but light and airy room. The breakfast in the morning was great with home made granola and fruit bread. A lovely, calm place to stay!

Property is wonderful, true B&B style. Was greeted on arrival with a friendly, welcoming host who took his time to explain all and show his guests around. The host provided ideas on the local are and the rest of the staff were fantastic and helpful. Breakfast was a great spread of savouries, no basic cereals which is a true winner for breakfast’s. Will certainly recommend and visit again.

Beautifully decorated retreat in a peaceful location. Self check in and communication with the host was easy. The bed was very comfortable and the room and bathroom was roomy amd very clean. Lovely surroundings and an easy walk.or drive to Leura village. Due to a traffic accident, we didn't eat there, so I can't comment on the dining options.

Peaceful and Tranquil accommodation in Leura.

A very tranquil and peaceful place to stay. We loved having a cup of tea and reading in the lounge. Lovely Tim Tam biscuits were supplied as well. Included was a very good breakfast and fruit,tea and coffee available available throughout the day. Craig and the staff were very friendly and accommodating and we felt very comfortable with the surrounding. We would definitely like to stay again soon. We

Very peaceful and relaxing. Key was simply sitting on front desk when we arrived, no staff there. One other couple so the 4 of us had the entire place to ourselves. Inside beautiful, rooms not as large as advertised but very nice. Outside of bldg needs maintenance and grounds needs a little TLC but still very pretty.

Great relaxing oasis in the Blue Mountains

We had a lovely 2 night stay at the Nunnery. Comfortable room, wonderful continental breakfast (better than what we have served the day before at a Peppers resort in northern NSW). Good size but intimate lounge area and dining room. Close to Leura township and a little secluded but not to far away from all the Blue mountain attractions. The only negative I have, the room we stayed in (room 4) had a small bathroom / shower but a smaller person possibly wouldn’t notice. Overall a most enjoyable stay. Thanks to Ash for making us feel very welcome.

Stayed in Room 1. Lots of windows near freeway and train track. Super clean. Delicious breakfast. Tiny basin in bathroom so nowhere to even put toothpaste down. Small shelf over the toilet so make sure you shut the lid!

Wonderful overnight stay doing Christmas shopping in Leura, very pleasant ( less stressful than Sydney😉) The Nunnery offers beautiful accomodation, has recently been restored and renovated in a stylish tasteful way. Bedroom was perfect, beds so comfortable, quality bedding, block out blinds, air con great during heat wave. Great breakfast included in Tarif, continental, house muesli, bread and pastries from local bakery, plus eggs and fruit. Thank you Craig for being such an attentive host. We will be back!

We liked the gardens, the beautifully restored Nunnery, charmingly decorated. We liked the included yoga class. The breakfast was lovely, fresh and of good quality. We did not like the poor signage to the entry/parking. The poor passage behind the bed (of 20cm) could not be helped but was awkward. A bedside shelf or ledge and a bed light would have been useful. The yoga class should have been mentioned in the booking documents.

My girlfriend and I had a one night stay at Brightlands retreat. The property is kept beautifully and the bedding/towels/bathroom amenities are really high quality. The common areas are so relaxing and the added touch of a tea room with home made oat cookies and Ikou teas and tea pots whenever you desire was very much enjoyed. Unfortunately, we missed out on our breakfast and float experience in the morning as the highway was closed from a crash but the owner promised to reimburse us our breakfast at a local cafe. The nunnery is within walking distance of Leura main street and it was lovely and clean and fresh with delightful furnishings. My only complaint would be the difficulty obtaining commincation with the guesthouse prior to arrival. Also, there is yoga, a spa and dinner options available on site though we didn't try these. Great value and we hope to return.

It’s was lovely and friendly. I would recommend on entry communication on how to use coffee machine. Also, the room was ready and great but the shampoo and hair conditioner were empty they did provide some cheaper shampoo and hair condition to compensate which was lovely, but only after I showered and washed my hair. Coffee pods a bit scarce to find and water for kettles and coffee machines Along with milk, we had to ask, were a bit scarce. Other than that great place would I go again, yes the these things were little side annoyances, not major.
