「This almost didn't happen because there was a storm that took the power out. But, fortunately, the power was on and we were able to have 2 nights there. It has so much character. It was clean and located close to the New River Gorge for us to commute back and forth. Tiffany was wonderful to communicate with us and she and Kevin gave a quick history lesson of the place.」

「This stay was for our 10th anniversary. The cabin was fantastic. We loved the hot tub and the privacy. We had an issue where VRBO didn’t send us the the cabin number and correct code. We ended up arriving at 2am due an emergency delay in our trip. We contacted VRBO and they contacted our host. We felt bad for waking him at 2am, but he was able to give us the information we needed. The setting is beautiful, the accommodations are perfect and the amenities were first class. 「AMAZING! It had extra trash bags, dishwasher pods; the things you need to leave it the way you found it. The hot tub was the reason we booked this cottage. It was a welcoming spot to relax after running the 50K in town. The fire pit was a nice way to unwind upon arrival. Thank you for thinking of all the little things. This cottage had raised the bar for all of our future VBROs.」

「Great location for home basefor hiking and sight seeing. The area was cleaning up after a storm when we arrived. Power out at places, no wifi, but all was eventually restored. Take a book, as if wifi is out, there is no tv. Cell service very spotty. However the home has what you need for a nice stay. Relax and disconnect!」

「We used this property as our home base as we explored the New River Gorge area. The house was just perfect for our needs. It was clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch in the evening. The deer came to visit early every morning. We have some wonderful pictures. The beds were comfortable. I have some mobility issues. I took my suction cup grab bars and put them on the doors of the walk in shower and it was perfect. I cannot say enough good things...
