「An incredible experience! The Inkwell Suite is such a comfortable, modern, and warm room. Do yourself a favor and book this room!The Tempur-pedic mattress was extremely comfortable. Rental properties can feel like a gamble sometimes with mattress quality, but the owners of the Spofford Lodge spared no expense to furnish their rooms with high quality items. The bathroom is luxurious and spacious! A shower stall and separate bath is so nice! The heated floors and towel rack are such incredible...

「Super new and clean. Loved the open floor plan for visiting after our hikes in Acadia. Beds were very comfortable. House did not lack in any necessities. It was about a 35 minute drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia. Not exactly easy to run back to the house if you wanted a mid day break, but we knew the location when we booked and enjoyed the quietness of neighborhood. The host was extremely responsive. Would definitely stay here again. 」

We had five children and five adults, and there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax.The pool was a game changer — even on our one rainy day, it made the vacation still feel like a celebration.
