This was an excellent base while we went to Khao Sok. Beautiful location, and a very unique experience for us and our kids. Staff was great, and the breakfast was a very welcome and nice touch. Highly recommended!

Location is closer to river and mountain. Felt the nature. However, a bit far from main road. It is 10 km away from Khao Sok national park. Staffs arranged eairly boat ride 6:30am. Not a lot of visitors are here yet. Enjoy the lake very much.

The hotel is located in a beautiful setting, by the side of the river, close to the entrance of the park and the dam. It is also surrounded by a few good restaurants, within a 5-10-minute drive. The owner offered an upgrade to a room with A/C on arrival for a little extra. She was also very helpful with transportation time tables and activity bookings. As expected, the room was a bit rustic but clean and functional. The mattress was stiff, even for Thailand. I straighten my back the first night. All good after that. I would definitely stay again at the Bansuanphutarn on my next visit to this beautiful place!

My wife and I had an incredible and last minute stay for my birthday. I would recommend for those wishing to connect with Thailands diverse nature and people living here or passing through. Its beyond peaceful.... especially if you check out CBD Bar & Bistro, play on the rope swings, or tube down the river!

Great place to stay in tropical heaven and near to Khao Sok lake. Hosts were friendly and hospitable, house was extremely clean, with nets on windows and good working airconditioner Highlight is the food. Plentiful breakfast with different options changing by day Also do not miss lunch/dinner here - it was best food we had during week in Thailand! You can also join group day tour to the lake for 1500 thb and you can arrange it for next day when arriving in the evening

This property isolated, which is ideal if you want to get away from noise and traffic. We spent the night here after landing in Surat Thani airport- about an hour drive, because the next morning we started a tour to Khao Sok Lake. Dinner was nice and the staff was very friendly and eager to help. Breakfast was simple but fresh and enough. The property also has a river and the view in the early morning is outstanding, with a beatiful mountain nd birds singing.

Very beautiful

The resort located in great, suitable for people who finding the romantic place, very quiet and away from crowded. Hotel itself opposite with the mountain and the river which is you Can see the mist in the morning. Even though we have some hiccups but the lady ( seem she is the owner ) tried her best to recover and made us finally happy with the offered. Will return some day.

Unpleasant stay. Bad accessing, breakfast is poor, the bed cause back pain, the staff hardly soeaks english. We left after 1 night, althoug we paid for 2 . Maybe good for youngs, but not for our age ( 50')
