Eco Rainforest Retreat (Entire 3bdr House)

Enjoy your stay at this unique rainforest retreat in the hinterlands of the Sunshine Coast. The space is an eco friendly house on half an acre of dense rainforest. Not only are the surrounding lush, you’ll be sleeping in 400TC organic cotton sheets with Belgian flax linen bedding on a comfy king size bed! Treat yourself to this unique getaway and spend some quality time in nature.
The Space
Anandā Eco House is joined by a huge deck that is surrounded by the 3 seperate bedrooms, the kitchen, bathroom and toilet.Each room is surrounded by the green forest outside, but when you need the privacy of your own space your room is fitted with blinds and curtains. For hotter months a ceiling fan is fitted and extra blankets and a heater are in each room when it gets chilly.The deck has a large gazebo with 14 chairs and two big tables underneath. The rest of the deck has built in bench seats for more laid back seating. The property also has a downstairs patio, seperate to the house, that has an outdoor lounge, firepit, weights/air bike and an ice bath. This patio is the only area the hosts sometimes use on the property, during the day time only.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, including pans, plates, glasses, mugs, tea, coffee, oven, microwave, blender and a full size fridge.

The house is eco friendly and as off grid as possible, hosting solar power, rain water and a composting toilet. The jungle setting attracts birds, wildlife and other bugs which all add to the experience.

We give our guests the option to customise your stay with additional add ons & purchases. These range from onsite cooking classes, 3 course dinners and breakfast hampers from our resident caterer, through to the convenience of having wine, firewood and pancake mixes etc. for sale.
We (the hosts) live on the other side of property in a Yoga Studio that’s been converted into a self contained flat. We are close enough if you need anything but far enough away that you’ll have your own space. We are available for any questions, tips or help throughout your stay


Parking
The property has a car park at the front that fits 3-4 cars, with additional parking available. You can always leave your car at the retreat and walk into town being less than 1km from the centre of Montville.


Sleeping arrangements
All bedrooms are set up with king beds as standard. If you require additional bedding or beds, we can change the configuration to 2-3 king single beds in each room for a small fee. Please let us know if your require any different configuration at the time of booking.
If you want more than 8 guests or want more space, we have two big glamping tents on site that can be hired. In Tent 1 there is a Queen and a pull out sofa double bed. In Tent 2 there is a Queen and a pull out sofa single bed. As the maximum capacity in the house is 8 guests, any additional guests will be accommodated in the glamping tents as needed.
