The bait and switch when you pull in seeing the big nice hotel building and then being off-loaded to the separate building beside it, which felt like a barracks. Parking was limited, so much so that I got anxious worrying about not being able to park in a spot after exploring the island for the day. The "bed" was nothing more than a cot on a terrible metal frame. It lacked even the basic support I would expect from a dingy motel. The room was empty outside of the small inconveniently placed mini-fridge which somehow had the door on backwards. The chair provided in the room was an office chair that didn't feel safe to sit on. We had to dump all of our bags on the floor since there was no sideboard, chest of drawers, or other large similar furniture to place bags on. It felt very unwelcoming. The room we stayed in had a door safety problem where it wouldn't fully close unless you pulled with force on the door. The bathroom wall had a massive rust stain that was carelessly left there from goodness knows when. On the last night at around 9pm, maintenence staff decided to start working in the cavernous hall, doing some tiling work.
The only positive experience had of this place was the staff at the front desk helping us get a second chair, and some laundry detergent & dryer sheets.
I highly recommend people to stay as far away from this hotel as physically possible.
