We enjoyed our 5 night stay as we skied deep powder at Mt Baker. Good food with clean rooms and a very helpful staff made this a trip to remember.

The room was excellent and staff were excellent. We had the room with the jetted tub between the bed and the bathroom! Absolutely beautiful. Apparently one of the water heaters was having an issue so it took a min to get hot water.

Real mountain lodge in an unlikely setting

Wonderful gem in Sumas felt like a real mountain lodge. Mt Baker room was beautifully crafted with wonderful amenities!

Very serene place. Loved the atmosphere & all the people I came into contact with. Great place to wind down. Clean room. Enjoyed my personal hot tub. I am not a good electronics guru, so I struggled plugging in phone & watch to charge. I was there for 2 days & it all worked out fine.

We really enjoyed our time in Sumas, less than a mile from the Canadian border. This place is centrally located to visit the North Cascades, Mount Baker, Bellingham and southern British Columbia. The staff was super nice and helpful and even did our laundry (for a reasonable charge), which allowed us to spend more time hiking and visiting this beautiful area of Washington. The hotel itself has a woodsy charm and the restaurant and bar on site is very convenient.
