Serene views with full lakeside windows for perfect picturesque lake setting experience. Swans not guaranteed but frequent the lake just yards from the water's edge. Enjoy the studio suite with private entrance, jacuzzi and hot tub experience after fishing, kayaking on the lake. Kitchenette, wi-fi internet, flat screen, air conditioning and electric fireplace for a cozy getaway experience.

This lock-off apartment connects to the main residence. For your privacy, the connecting access is secured from both sides with locks similar to what you find in an adjoining hotel rooms . Property is equipped with motion detector lights and security cameras at the front and back entrance of the property..


Our location provides easy access to Shipshewana's Amish tourism and Notre Dame's campus and football games.

Great relaxing getaway
This was the perfect location to come back to after day trips to Shipshewana. It was very cute, comfortable and cozy. Our favorite part was the hot tub at night overlooking the peaceful and serene lake. We really enjoyed our stay.

Nice Little Anniversary Trip
The cabin was as described. Very clean, quiet and comfortable. We even sat out in the hot tub after dark and it was the perfect end to our day of driving and visiting Shipshewana.

A perfect getaway
We recently stayed at a lovely lakeside retreat that was both beautiful and serene, offering the perfect escape from the daily hustle. The scenic views of the lake were breathtaking, and the tranquil environment provided a much-needed relaxing atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and would definitely visit again.

Great get away
A good location to Shipshewana and Elkhart's Wellfield Botanical Gardens.The lake was serene. The swans came closeby! The apt. was quaint and the bed was comfy. The hot tub however needs a privacy fence. The owners Tim & Marybeth were friendly when we met them.

Great spot
My wife and I would like to thank Tim for their hospitality and providing us such a pleasant stay. Check in and out was very easy. Their property is very clean and private with an amazing view. Communication was so easy with Tim as he always provided such prompt responses. The space was absolutely cozy, we felt very at home. The property is so conveniently located just seven minutes drive to nearby restaurants/stores. It’s just beautiful. It was a very wonderful experience we will be speaking of and telling stories about for a very long time.

Quiet getaway
We were looking for a quiet getaway and this was perfect. The hot tub was clean and well maintained. We didn’t use the kitchen but it was well setup for a small group. We arrived after a large snow event and they had just finished clearing off the driveway for us. My wife especially enjoyed both the hot tub and jacuzzi. The view out the windows was wonderful and just as pictured.

Romantic getaway
Such a sweet, clean place to stay and the host are awesome and very helpful. Had fun on kayaks on the lake. Color change of the trees around the lake were beautiful. Really enjoyed the nice well maintained hot tub too! Highly recommend staying here! We will return.

Peaceful and Pretty
I booked this stay looking for a place to relax and find some peace following a very stressful period at work in this place was perfect. The property is tucked back in the woods along the lake so it was very quiet with no traffic noise or neighbors close by. The lake was so pretty and it was so peaceful. I would definitely book a stay at this property again!
