We moved from San Francisco to London December 2020 and had heard much about the Cotswolds. We were not sure where to stay but wanted to find a place that did not have AS MANY narrow roads. Nailsworth turned out to be an amazing spot and we were thrilled with our choice. The owner of these units, Matthew is amazing. He is easily accessible, communicates well and has many recommendations. The units were done really well. Reverse osmosis water filter. beautiful skylights that open, and they even have a jumpy castle they would pull out for families on the lawn. Many families gathered outside and chatted while the children happily played. The Common is a short car ride away. It is a huge, beautiful open field for walking, biking, golfing. The location of these units is amazing. You can take the train to Stroud and take the 63 bus a short ride if you wish or there is abundant parking. Walking around town is right outside. There are several great restaurants and shops within 5 minutes and it is a 3 minute walk to a large grocery store and a bakery, a high end butcher and many charming shops moments away. You would never know you are so close to all as it is tucked away. Our week was fantastic and we will definitely return. Matthew is a great host and the units are smartly designed and modern. They even have radiant heat on the floors and a deep bathtub. Easiest showers we have ever used too. Push of a button to control temperature and pressure. All excellent. So thankful we took a chance and explored this area.
