One of the landmarks is the castle ?Castello Aragonese? in Le Castella, an ancient 15th century structure that stands on a small island connected to the coast only by a narrow strip of land. The medieval villages of Santa Severina, with their museums and historic houses, are also a popular destination. Diving enthusiasts can take advantage of the numerous underwater routes in the marine reserve to discover not only the beauty of nature, but also archaeological treasures.
