「Not the experience I expected to have with a such a high rated place. The room had many maintenance issues: main door wouldn’t close all the way, bathroom door wouldn’t close unless you lifted it off its hinges, bathroom faucet was coming out of the counter, and the room temp never warmed up. 「A total disappointment in a no hospitable environment that one would think is operating for monetary reasons only. Hosts were not visible at all unless you were repeatedly given some pieces of pancake every day for breakfast. Towels still smelled the previous guest body odors and didn’t feel good about non-white bedsheets or towels, doubting if there were hiding stains or unwashed sets. 「Slightly underwhelmed relative to high expectations. Check in was unmanned when we arrived over an hour after the 3pm time - another couple had been standing outside for 20 minutes. Room (admittedly the least expensive) was very small, no coffee or water in room - available down two flights of stairs. No shampoo. Lounge area is pleasant. Breakfast was very good quality but choice limited. Obviously it isn’t a full service hotel, but you need to step up in other areas and pay attention to detail...
