"This motel was rated exceptional. What? Clean but shabby rooms. I asked the desk clerk if there was a restaurant in the area besides Hardee’s. He said that was it. A quick Google search showed he was lying or misinformed. The next morning, at 9:15, he ignored the “Do Not Disturb” sign to tell me something incoherent about wanting to shut down the motel by 10, even though checkout was at 11. I was working online at the time. And the maid talked loudly while cleaning the other rooms on the corridor, beginning around 8 AM."

"Nice clean spacious place, had plenty of room in the home and outside to enjoy our stay. Enough space to park 2 trucks and a our pontoon, electric on the front of the garage made it easy to charge boat batteries. Covered area for grilling, nice deck to sit outside or covered front porch if needed. Second time we've stayed and it works well for us. We do an annual trip for my buddy and I, our boys and our dad's to all get together for a "guys trip". Toys and a trampoline that the boys enjoyed and games that we all enjoyed."

"It was a neat bare bones cabin. Had our 3 dogs with us and the yard was convenient. It had rained rained quite a bit before we arrived so we couldn't be to adventurous as we would have liked. Nice area with the lake near."
