「Ron was the best host we have EVER had at a motel! He called prior to our arrival to check in on our travels. He was friendly, cheerful, and made our stay feel like we were at home. We arrived late evening and were invited to make s’mores over an open fire pit on the motel grounds. The room was clean, cozy and comfortable. We awoke rested, refreshed and ready to continue our journey. Definitely bookmarking this motel for the next time we travel through Michigan’s Upper Peninsula! 」

「The place was clean and well stocked with items. Everything is modern and up-to-date. Location is ideal for a long week in the UP to visit many areas. There was no central AC as it has listed, or really any AC, but we did eventually find a rolling floor unit and had to find parts around the place for it and it kind of worked but not well. Also had to ask about trash and found out you have to either burn or haul out your trash and that was very frustrating.」

「If you want a cozy cabin that’s hidden away, then you have found the right place. My kids loved the kayaks/canoe/peddle boat. My husband loved the strong WiFi. I enjoyed the deck with the beautiful view. Be sure to bring supplies because there is no stores close by. Fair warning to cPap users, there is no close outlet to the bed. 「We had a group of nine and had a blast staying at the house. The house itself is old and very noisy when you walk around but the outdoor spaces made up for it. We loved the decks, hot tub, fire pit and private beach. It was a great location to explore the UP. Our dogs loved it too 」
