"This hotel was a beautiful surprise to be found in Des Moines. A mountain lodge in the city lol. I was really sad to hear the hot tub was down, and had been for months. I was not informed before hand. The room was nice though the carpet was really run down and stained. The toilet would not flush unless you stood there and held the handle till it was empty. With the minor inconveniences, the staff was amazing! so kind and prompt. The breakfast had a little of everything that made it easy to feed too picky kiddos and mom/dad."
