It was perfect! Just what I hoped it would be! Lovely setting. The garden is so calming and pretty. The layout of the cottage is compact and cozy. Well appointed. Even beach chairs provided. And the beach access is only 2 1/2 houses away down a sandy lane!

Retreat

This property was veryclean except for some cobwebs, on-site owners were very pleasant to talk to the entry. Courtyard garden was very beautiful. It was a great setting for a relaxing getaway. My wife and I would recommend to our friends. Excellent access to the beach small parking space not recommended for large SUVs or trucks.

Beautiful Cottage in a Stunning Location

The cottage was wonderful, just steps from the beach and in the most wonderful garden setting. Watching the hummingbirds and other birds in the fountain was a highlight.It was great to have access to beach chairs and a charcoal BBQ as well as the hot tub. The only issue we had was that some of the dishes in the cupboard were dirty and there was fine dust in the drawers that ended up all over our clothes. Pretty sure the dust came from the BBQ as it wasn't cleaned between guests and when we took it out of the shed ash flew everywhere. We caught it luckily but obviously the previous guests did not and it made it inside the cottage. Also the owners were quite "Hovery" so don't plan on canoodling in the hot tub. One morning we were in bed doing what couples do when on vacay and one of the owners was outside the glass door fossicking around. Totally killed the mood. It was a bit like making out at your grandmas house. We had a good laugh about it. That being said the whole stay was delightful and the home was thoughtfully provisioned.

Romantic getaway

This place was cozy and romantic. The grounds were lush and green, secluded but close to the ocean. It was so close to the ocean, loved the sunsets. The hosts were friendly and helpful. We had a great time.

Completely Beautiful

This little cottage was so perfect for us. We were doing an elopement on the beach, and this was a perfect spot for us to stay. It had everything we needed, and the garden was just amazing. We could hear the ocean from the cottage, and the short walk to the beach was a dream. We will absolutely be coming back.

Bucolic and relaxing

This was a lovely place to visit the beach for a couple of days. The owners were pleasant and communications were easy. I’ll be back! If I can find an open spot on their deservedly full schedule!

This is a great place to stay. Very peaceful. 2 minute walk from the beach and can hear the waves from the house. The garden is wonderful and a great place to sit and relax.

Dreamy Beach Getaway

I loved every minute staying at this magical retreat! It's located steps from the beach and is perfect for one person. I spent most days on and around the beach, cooked most meals in the well-equipped kitchen, and listened to the waves at night.

Another great week at the cottage

We so enjoyed the gorgeous garden and the closeness to the beach again. So many long beach walks watching the amazing high surf that carved canyons into the beach. After our last stay, we made two requests, and our hosts responded in a way that made this stay even better than the last. We love coming here and will do so again.

Beautiful private cottage just off the beach

I loved the way we were just steps off the beach where I could take long morning walks in the sand before the beach filled up. Back at the cottage, we were away from the crowds in a beautiful private space, surrounded by an amazing garden. A short walk to town to get a bottle of wine or pick up an order from Parkside Cafe. This was just what we wanted, and I already made a return booking.

Welcoming and Understated

We felt at home and comfortable at this property. Owners live adjacent and were very friendly and helpful. Overall, quite serviceable and comfortable. At times it was too warm from the day’s sun. The garden courtyard is beautifully landscaped, fragrant and inviting. Proximity to the beach and quietness of the community were top draws for us.
