The home was very up-to-date and beautifully decorated. Beds comfortable and the patio was a nice place to sit and read. Great TV and WiFi as well.Fully furnished kitchen.Plenty of hot water and all appliances worked. The host was exceptional in communications.
Our family loved the property and was a great place to relax after days of hiking nearby. Great location closeby to all the scenic waterfalls in the area. We would definitively stay here again on our next visit!
We had a wonderful stay for our anniversary it was centrally located to the things we wanted to do for our trip. The house had a beautiful site down the road that we visited twice during our stay. The house had a majority of the things we needed to cook as well which is so helpful.
We came up here for a long weekend at Mt. Hood and the Polar Express train ride. This little home was perfect. We had our two small dogs and two boys and there was plenty of space. The communication with the host was wonderful. We would absolutely stay here again.
The property is very "HGTV" and fun looking. Space was clean, organized, and well stocked. Only "minus" is the proximity to a rather busy road, but then it's also a short trip to coffee and restaurants.
We loved this stay. It was nicely furnished and very clean. We loved the outside patio. The kitchen was well equipped. The only downside (for those of us that like to sleep with the window open) was lots of road noise in the bedrooms starting early in the morning.
The house was very comfortable, and had everything we needed. Check in/out was easy, the hosts were very helpful with recommendations, and overall, our stay was great. It felt like everything was selected thoughtfully--from the design of the house to the furniture choices, to the landscaping. Very cool.
Perfect place for our short stay to the Gorge! Close proximity to hikes, restaurants, coffee etc. Close to highway, but house is so well built didn't impact us at all. Slept like a baby :) Had everything we could possibly need.
Secure, clean, roomy for two, modern accommodation. A little remote, quiet but not out of the way, restaurants and gas nearby. Hosts were available as needed, otherwise hands-off.
We enjoyed everything about this place!! The place was absolutely lovely, clean, and beautifully appointed. We would be thrilled to come back another time. Thank you so much!!! 😊
We LOVED this little tucked away gem!! It was flawless in decor and comfort - and the outdoor area was so fun. We used the hanging lights and Sonos speakers for enjoying evening chats. Then, we turned off all the outdoor lights, and the stars were incredible. We highly recommend!!
The property is amazing. My wife and I celebrated our 20th anniversary lounging around with wine and charcuterie listening to our audio book. It was so comfortable and cozy. We didn’t want to leave. When we did go out, we found it centrally located to excellent restaurants, sites, and trails. Definitely a repeat booking.
We loved this place!!! It was very clean and as listed. The place is beautiful! Lots of small and appreciated touches!!! The best bed and softest sheets!!!the shower was great as well! I will look to book here again when visiting in the future! The only con we had was the mini split unit. It was showing E7 which when we Googled said connection issues. We didn't reach out bc the temperature was fine to us. Still a 5 star, highly recommend!!!
Casa Chihuahua a was quiet, comfortable and nicely decorated and appointed base for exploring the surrounding Columbia Gorge and plateau, enjoying the abundant native flowers (Camas!) in their spring finery. We alternated cooking for ourselves with eating at the nearby Backwoods Brewery and picnicking at scenic viewpoints with our dog, Hazel. We went across the Columbia to Mosier for it's expanse of sunny yellow Arrowleaf Balsamroot and Lupine, and had wonderful ramen at Mugen in Hood River. Worth a return visit!
