"I would like to begin by recognizing a staff member who was exceptionally friendly and helpful during our visit. Her professionalism and positive attitude stood out, and she truly deserves recognition for her efforts.
Unfortunately, our experience with the accommodations did not meet expectations. The condition of the room did not accurately reflect the images or descriptions provided on the website, which makes it difficult for guests to make informed decisions—especially for short stays. The shower curtain was not properly installed, and the bathtub was in poor condition, with visibly chipped paint and a discolored, yellowish-brown appearance. It appeared unsanitary to the point that shower shoes felt necessary. Additionally, the towels and washcloths looked worn and discolored, and the complimentary soap appeared to have been previously used and repackaged. There was also a noticeable odor in the room.
It may also be helpful for the property to clearly communicate if it primarily accommodates traveling construction workers, as this was not indicated online. The parking lot was predominantly occupied by large work trucks, and most guests appeared to be in work attire, which may influence expectations for other travelers.
Overall, the condition of the room was distressing for my family. My 15-year-old was visibly upset upon seeing the accommodations, and I did not feel comfortable allowing my 10-month-old to stay in that environment.

"Dirty bathroom and floor. Beds are hard and worn. Staff nice. Outdoor room entrance. Parking is very tight. Breakfast as usual, only hot waffles. No sausage, bacon, biscuits, gravy, no powdered eggs 😆. I knew what I signed up for, just didn't expect it to be this lame. The people in other rooms didn't seem to notice other people were sleeping. Have their party and not keeping noise down. The weekend had a lot going on with activities in the area and this hotel was far less than all the other hotels in the area. Most of the other hotels jumped their price to $200-250 per night. This hotel stayed average of 125.00 per night, Thurs-Sunday. I have been coming to Monroe for the last eight years during this weekend for bmx races. First time at this hotel, not again. I'll pay the premium for another hotel next year. In the end, it's a sub par Quality Inn. We have stayed at many Quality Inn hotels in the past that are great. Also note, this hotel is not in the greatest part of Monroe. Stay in a hotel in west Monroe. My two cents. "
"Didnt have a liquor license for their bar to serve. Whole propert was under construction (renovating) looks they they bought a quality inn and are trying to make it a mariott and its not good workmanship looks like they are trying to polish a turd. Im very very disappointed at paying almost 300.00 a night for a wed and Thursday night. I wont start there again. Cant believe matiott has their name on this. I could of stated at the place right behind it townplace suites for a fraction of the price and way nicer. This is not ok for them to be changing people the rates they are with the condition of this place. And not warning when booking about the condition. "
"Rooms in poor condition, second hand looking furniture, steps to the second floor rusted through and unsafe. The night clerk was very nice, and tried to be as helpful as possible, but woul not recommend as anything other than an emergency stop. If we hadnt been driving for 12 hours with 3 kids, we would have slept in the car"
