The Landings 1927 is an unbelievably unique option for Steamboat. It's a recently updated single family home, within close proximity to the ski mountain. In Steamboat, the neighborhood closest to the mountain is referred to as 'condoland' by locals. Luckily this property has the convenient location of 'condoland' but the privacy that a single family home affords. The owners have spared no expense when it comes to bedding, furnishings & overall quality of the home. There are few rental properties that could truly boast having a chef's kitchen. Well, this is one of them. The kitchen is equipped with every appliance and bit of cookware that a cook could desire! The home is multistory with a heated garage. The entry level has two bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with two twins. Up the single flight of stairs guests will find another king bedroom with an ensuite bath. Each bedroom is equipped with large HD SmartTV's. Unlike most homes in Colorado, this property has AIR CONDITIONING on the upper floor. The lower floor stays cool enough not to need it and has fans for any exceptionally hot days. There is a great deck with a gas grill off the main level, a washer/dryer downstairs, a gas fireplace in the living room, a bar area with two wine fridges, etc. In addition to the above mentioned amenities, the property is right on the Mountain Sneak Trail. This “trail” is actually an easily accessible paved, walking or biking path, with year round accessibility that takes you directly to the ski area base, about a half a mile away.

– Accessing the Property – There are two steps to access the home from either the driveway or the garage.
– Parking – 1 car heated garage. Additional parking for 3 small vehicles or 1-2 larger vehicles in the driveway. If guests need additional parking options, contact us for more information.
– 4WD vehicle information
– 4WD/AWD or vehicles with chains may be required to access this property when traveling during snow and winter weather conditions. This property is off of a main road that is plowed regularly but as it goes in the mountains, when it snow a lot, sometimes the plows have trouble keeping up so 4WD/AWD is always recommended.

Summer nights are cool and fans are provided at most properties. Check the average high and low temperatures and weather forecast for your dates of travel, and look at the list of amenities to see if AC or fans are part of the rental property and look for ceiling fans in photos.
** Group Sizes, High Occupancy Fees, & Maximum Occupancy - Some properties use a “High Occupancy Fee” to “raise the rate” for larger groups, and are thus able to list a lower nightly rate for smaller groups. Each rental agreement and associated rates are for a specific group size. Guests must enter the correct and maximum group size at the time of booking. The agreement requires a guest to confirm the group size and subsequently, to disclose any changes to the planned group size, which may result in an increase, or decrease, to the total cost, and may result in a security deposit becoming required.
** Video & Noise Monitoring - Please note that noise monitoring devices, and security cameras, do exist on the exterior of the property. Cameras are positioned to cover all entrances and exits of the home. Cameras are present to ensure the property remains secure and safe, as well as to ensure that guests are honest and upfront about their planned use of the property. If you plan to bring more people than you've indicated, more dogs than indicated, to host a party or event, or do not intend to respect neighbors or the value and quality of the property, then this is not the place for you, and you should not book the property. For normal, respectful groups, we are sorry that these statements and measures are necessary. The property is listed exactly as it was! It was clean and spacious and comfortable. It is not walkable to the mountain with little children, so we did drive everyday! The unit had everything you needed and then some! It even had sleds for the little ones! Nothing was missing and it was spotless!The only issue we had was when we arrived the thermostats were set to 60 degrees per the instructions on check out and it was freezing cold! Since it was radiant heat it took several hours for the unit to warm up which was hard at 4 pm to wait until the middle of the night.- especially with the small kids! We will be returning next year and hope to stay at this property again! It was easy to access close to everything and really clean!

The four of us had an excellent stay at the house. The kitchen had all that we needed. The living area was comfortable for the four of us and the beds were comfortable. We were not familiar with radiant heating, so getting the correct room temperatures was a bit challenging. Also, we had to space out hot water use for showering. Overall, we would not hesitate to book this property again!

Stay was good. No AC in downstairs bed rooms. Most windows did not open or have screens on them so we could not open the windows. The batteries were out in the upstairs ac unit controlers. AC in family room was making noise when on. Other than just those minor things it was a good stay.

Everything was nice. The HMO did not clear our driveway any and it iced and snowed pretty hard vi saw them at other houses. Thank goodness I had a 4 x4 truck. Or I would have been struck other than that it was nice
