Getaway close to the Red River Gorge

Grandma's Place sleeps 4 adults. The getaway has 2 bedrooms. There is a king-size bed and a full size bed. It has a full kitchen, full bath with a charcoal grill, heat and A/C. Allows 1 small pet under 25 pounds. There is no internet and cell service can be spotty depending on your carrier. There are plenty of movies to play on the television for entertainment and a game table in the garage.

  • This is sky bridge. The most massive arch in Red River. it spans over a hundred feet and about 50 feet in the air. Probably the most famous arch in Red River, it has been seen in movies. Many astro-photographers flock here because of it's structure and clear skyline. If you get a chance, the trail is only .8 miles and very much worth it. You first walk across the top of the arch, it is so big that you are halfway across before you notice your not just on a narrow rock path. then you circle around to be under the arch.

Weekend getaway

The property was not described properly. The air was not working and it had a terrible smell. The floors were sunk in places and it was very small. The bathroom was small. We tried to reach the property manager but he never returned our calls.

Small old house

The company that we dealt with was absolutely phenomenal. This house was just not what the pictures portrayed. It was older and run down. The floors were soft and the kitchen was pieced together. It was clean but not a nice place to stay I would have rather spent the extra money. The shower/bathroom was tiny and had lady bugs everywhere. The outside of the house was run down and I thought it was a vacant house. I highly recommend the company we booked with but not this house. Spend the extra 100 and get something nice.
