We have stayed at a few different cabins in RRG and this was by far our favorite. The porch views were beautiful and it was very clean. We will definitely be back!
The way up is a little treacherous, but my 2 wheel drive car was able to make it. Once at the cabin the drive up was well worth it. Sunset views and watching storms roll in on the back covered patio were our favorite evenings. Very clean and comfortable inside. A really wonderful stay!!
This was a great spot for a relaxing getaway! The house was very clean with easy directions/check in. Feels very secluded with amazing views. Would definitely recommend!
This cabin was the perfect, cozy spot for our hiking adventures over the weekend. It was clean and the layout was ideal! The view from the back porch was gorgeous. Literally zero complaints other than service, even with WiFi connection was shotty which is understandable but def don’t expect to be able to watch TV. Luckily we had audiobooks during our downtime at the cabin.
Great space inside and on the decks and fire pit area. Loved the ease of the hot tub and cooking. Could use more signage/directions from hosts on how to get the cabin from the main road. Just using GPS brought us to the wrong cabin. We encountered several wasps, but they had clearly sprayed so they weren’t threatening. Nice location to get to hiking nearby.
The house is adorable and clean. The views out the back deck were amazing! The beds were comfortable, and we enjoyed the hot tub. My whole family really enjoyed the stay! We would recommend it and we’ll stay here again! The road up to the house is a gravel road and is steep in places. Towards the end of the trip we were used to it but the first time up made me a bit anxious.
Such a gorgeous place this was our first trip to the mountains and we will for sure be back! The cabin was amazing with no issues at all and was warm when we first walked through the door. 10/10 will be back!
Our originally booked cabin unfortunately did not have power, after Hurricane Helene passed through the area. Our host went above and beyond to find us a backup cabin which did have power, and saved our vacation. Highly recommend booking with them
Didn’t want to leave! Gorgeous inside and outside. Spent my time going from one porch/sitting area to another. Plenty of space for the six of us. Was so comfortable that I didn’t even bother to go to Nada Tunnel or Natural Bridge.
Overall great! No shampoo and soap n shower as stated. However kitchen had everything needed. Loved the deck - did have to clean crumbs off the table on it. Comfortable beds and seating. For sure we will recommend it
We went for a kayak trip and stayed here. It was amazing! Very quiet. Very peaceful. View was amazing!! I was speechless. I cannot say enough!! The drive up the hill wasn’t horrible (only was when we got lost-lol) but it is an incredible place to stay!! Highly recommend!! It was just breath taking. If you’re looking for romantic—this supersedes that’s expectation!
This cabin was wonderful - honestly the pictures don’t do it justice! Everything was so cozy and comfy. We loved the electric fireplace. The weather was rainy and cold the majority of the time but that meant lots of use of the hot tub which was SO nice and clean and definitely newer. Very close to the gorge and Miguel’s. We will definitely be back in summer/fall to use the outdoor fire pit area and the back deck with incredible mountain views.
Check in to this prestine cabin was so easy. The owner was incredibly helpful, accommodating, and lightning fast with questions I had. The cabin was clean and comfortable, 10/10 would definitely stay again and very much wish I had booked more nights. Kitchen had everything needed to make dinner and breakfast, beds were comfy, and it was all within 20 mins of our underground kayak trip. The outdoor living areas are so beautiful and well done as well, including a clean and HOT hot-tub which was much appreciated this time of year. Great stay!
The house and surrounding property is lovely, the view is amazing and peaceful. While we didn't use the firepit area, it is welcoming with seats and a swinging bench. The highway noises quickly became background sounds and were barely noticed. The master bed was very comfortable and the back deck was nice to relax on and read a book after a good day of hiking the Red River Gorge. Try Miguel's Pizza, down by Natural Bridge Resort Area - the vibe reminded us of White Duck Taco in Asheville and the pizza was outstanding. Don't underestimate the 3/4 mile road to get to the property - we had AWD in a crossover vehicle and did not have any problems. We got excellent hiking advice from Rita at the Powell County Visitor's Center.
