「We loved it and would not hesitate in coming back. Everything we needed supplied. Hot tub was particularly special. Full SKY package was a nice surprise. Lovely, spacious, tidy grounds. Very quiet area. Beds a bit soft for my liking but still comfortable. Wifi details supplied didnt work but used details on the router and all was fine. A bit rushed in the morning, 12, or even 11am checkout time would have been better. Overall, 99% happy. Defo stay more than two nights next time」

「I was a little bit skeptical at first: the property is reached by a one lane road, off a small two lane road, off a regional road. Typical Scotland. Yet, once there, it was magnificent. The cottage was adjacent to two cottages and next to small bio domes which seemed interesting to stay also. Our cottage was very spacious, clean, airy, great kitchen and despite its perceived isolation had all possible amenities. Very nice host who welcomed us with a bottle of wine. 「Great house in the middle of the fields. You have everything you need. We didn’t use kitchen tools but it seemed to be fool. we used the fireplace as an attraction although it was not so cold these days it was great for an evening together. the bed is uncomfortable with a spring mattress. the sewerage and ventilation in the shower worked poorly. 10/10 for accommodation atmosphere and cleanliness.」

「Absolutely ideal place to stay for a trip to Pitlochry and the beautiful surrounding areas. Only an easy, 3 minute drive to get to the town centre, yet removed enough from the busy little town to be able to unwind in the quiet on an evening. The lodge itself is lovely, super cosy and clean, and the hot tub was one of the nicest I've ever been in. Highly recommended!」

「The house is exactly as pictured but they don’t do it justice. From the moment we opened the door it was nothing short of a perfect 4 days. Jamie and Lisa are welcoming and ensure everything is thought of. The only part of the stay that was a bummer was having to leave. 」

「Had a lovely weekend staying at Birnie Cottage. Aileen was great at giving information prior to our arrival and gave us a lovely welcome with scones, butter and jam. The cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The garden is beautiful and we were lucky enough to be able to sit out 2 evenings enjoying the sun and the garden. 「Lovely cottage with a beautiful garden, spotless and well-equipped. We received a warm welcome with a basket with bread, butter, milk, fruit and delicious home-made jam! Parking the car can be a bit of a challenge for the driver who is used to a steeringwheel on the other side ;-) Perfectly situated to explore both Edinburgh and Glasgow as well as the Highlands. This was our first visit and we would really like to come back sometime. 」

「Accommodation excellent, very central . Dundee far exceeded my expectations, what a lovely place to visit. Only about a 10 minute walk from train station and most places walkable but also lots of buses if you want to explore. 「We visited Scotland to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. We loved our stay at the cottage! It’s just as charming as it appears in the online photos. It was a convenient “home base” for exploring several parts of Scotland. Katie and John were amazing hosts. They (and everyone we met in Scotland) were so warm and friendly.
