The home is clean. Nicely decorated. Nice layout. Host responds quickly.I would say that shades or curtains for 3 entry/exit doors and the kitchen window would go a long way for privacy comfort. Neighborhood was okay, we never felt unsafe.

The property was nice for an older home. I would suggest that curtains be put up on the door in the front and in the back also the kitchen window and in the bathrooms, the house backed up to another property and you can see straight through. There’s no light on the front porch, which makes it very dark. When coming in at night there is a light on the street that does help some, but there is no porch light also not sure if you’re aware or the cleaners have notified you but the bathroom where the rooms are the bathtub water backs up into the tub. There is a drainage problem otherwisefor an older property I would very much so stay here again if ever happen to come into town for a family function. I have family in Kingsland so this is a perfect location. The owners communication was excellent before and throughout the stay oh we did have to make a Walmart run as there were no washcloths left nothing major that you might wanna mention that in your details to bring your own washcloths they’re not provided. The front door lock also continued to cycle with the noise as if it was trying to lock and unlock every 20 minutes or so, which was startling making you think that somebody was trying to come into the house. Overall, the home was very well put together. It was a very short stay was in town for my great aunt’s 90th birthday celebration.

Edi and Sara are great hosts. They were quick to respond to our questions and helpful in planning our trip. The vrbo was very clean and had lots of room. It was convenient to the beach, shopping, cumberland island and the jacksonville zoo. The neighborhood was quiet and we often walked in the evenings. The neighbors spoke and waved while we were out walking. It truly is a safe, family oriented area. Extra points for the fenced in yard for our dog to enjoy. We had a great time and highly recommend Edi and Sara's vrbo.

Overall, the property is good for a short stay. The extra deep tubs can be difficult for anyone with mobility issues to get a shower. The handles on the water control are very tight to move. There are no curtains, just blinds on the windows. This makes it difficult for someone who needs darkness to sleep as the street light shines in the master window no matter what way you face the blinds. There is nothing on the door windows. Which the street is very quiet, so there is not a lot of traffic. There were only three washrags to be found in the whole house. Communication with the host felt very formatted and they never answered if we could have the option for a late checkout. The doors all lock automatically after a certain amount of time, which from a security standpoint, I understand, but extremely annoying if unloading/loading or taking your dog outside. The house is dog friendly, which was great and one of the main reasons we selected this house. We were grateful to have somewhere for all of us to have room while we spent time with our sailor. There were no checkout instructions posted. The host did provide them after I sent a message to them.

We truly enjoyed our stay. Our hosts were amazing to communicate with and very attentive. Our check-in process was flawless.This is a smaller town, so if you are from a larger city, don’t look for well developed neighborhoods. However, with that being said, the neighborhood was very well kept and extremely quiet - the only noise I heard was a cute little dog.The owners took pride in the preparation of this home, as it was extremely clean inside and the bed linen had the freshest smell to them! I would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

If you ask my children, they will tell you the beds were incredibly comfortable and deep basin tubs were refreshing!Hubby and I enjoyed a bit of peace on the opposite side of this large home. Our pup loved the fenced in yard!Highly recommend to anyone wanting ot visit Cumberland Island or go up to Jekyll or St. Simon's Islands! This house is a great midpoint for all surrounding areas/things to do.

Plenty of space

We had a nice stay for a quick trip to the St. Mary’s area. We really enjoyed heading south and stopping at all the state and national parks. The house is clean and has lots of room.

Love St. Mary’s

Our stay overall was fine. The emails were kind of disjointed and I had to ask for the basic info that is usually included in a binder or something in the home as to what they want us to do when leaving, things to do in the area, etc…When we arrived the house was quite stuffy, the ac was off so it didn’t feel super welcoming. I’m sure this is just personal preference but the laundry detergent smell throughout the property was so strong I couldn’t even sleep under the blankets because I could barely breathe. I would have enjoyed our stay way more if the smell didn’t permeate everything. The locks as another renter said were a little wonky. However, we were glad to be able to stay so close to our son and see our grand baby!

Great location and super cute house

Location was excellent and communication with owners was excellent also. This house is spacious and super cute! The floors were very dirty unfortunately but all else was great. House did not have any amenities available, no soap or spices at all to cook with, need to bring everything with you.

Weekend getaway

Close to the river, shops and restaurants. House was very clean and stocked with basic supplies. Yard was clean and fenced. Neighborhood is an older neighborhood, but we had NO issues during our stay. I wouldn't let that put you off. Literally 2 blocks from main road. Communication with the owners was spot on!

House is ok but the neighborhood is not very beautiful

We stayed for two nights at the the house. Let‘s start with the positive things:- fenced yard for dogs- beds comfortable- house was spacious enough for 8 peopleOn the opposite:- it is not in a nice neighborhood- kitchen equipment can be improved

St Mary, GA

The residence was a modular home which made the layout a bit awkward but adequate for us. The neighbor was old and somewhat rundown however we, being three females, did not feel unsafe. I would recommend staying there if you are looking for a budget wise location.

Didn’t get door codes despite attempting for several days. Requests to owners were replied with formatted messages. Front door keypad was unreliable. No written instructions on location of amenities, checkout procedures. Sandy yard meant floors were dirty and and bottoms of feet became black

Great Stay

We booked this property to visit my son who is stationed at Kings Bay. It was my husband and I along with 5 young adults ages 19-21. There was plenty of room. I loved that there were 2 living areas with my husband and I using the bedroom and bathroom on the opposite side of the house as the other 3 bedrooms. We were able to give the kids space and hubby and I were able to have a quiet area to ourselves. The neighborhood is older, but convenient to town. I only wish there were TVs in the bedrooms. The home is older, but clean and roomy.

Very Nice

We booked this house for a group of us of 3 adult couples for a visit to St Marys. The house was a 10 minute drive from main town. The house outside looks a little rundown, appears to be a double wide and the bathrooms a little old. However it had everything we needed and were very comfortable staying there. Plenty of room and everything was funtionable.
