This is a nice hotel in a very dead part of the Clayton central business district. We were there on the weekend - the neighborhood may be more lively during the week.
We experienced a lot of small frustrations with the amenities at the hotel.
We booked the hotel because it had a pool, but learned on check-in that the pool would be closed due to a private event. It was 90 degrees out and we wanted to swim.
But we regrouped, and saw in the room's welcome materials that the hotel had a partnership with the Art Museum offering free admission. So we decided to do that instead of the pool. However, when we walked downstairs to request the details, we were informed that the partnership had actually ended.
Finally, we went back upstairs, where the private event music was so loud that we had to turn our television to 100, the maximum volume setting, just to be able to hear it.
So be aware that this hotel will prioritize events over guests and keep that in mind.
That said, the facility is very nice and modern, and the room was clean and well-appointed.
