"This property is excellent….super clean…great breakfast …very convenient location because our son goes to PACE University and plays lacrosse so we stay there at least twice a week. My only complaint is the staff that I have had on my last 4 stays are very unfriendly and not real accommodating. Not really willing to go the extra "

"Perfect location right off Highway and inly 45 minutes to JFK. Friendly staff, decent breakfast and the coffee and cookies hit the spot when we arrived! Room was clean and perfect for our one night stay. Would absolutely stay there again. "

"2 hours before check in we were informed that there was a problem with the thermostat and we couldn’t stay there, while they did have 2 other properties they could offer us, they didn’t work for us and when asked for our money back since we were not staying where we were supposed to the property manager ghosted us. I did get American Express involved and VRBO as well but the host and property manager completely ghosted us "

"This place is anything but elegant.The host was responsive until we arrived at the property, at which point communication completely stopped. Check-in was a nightmare due to unclear parking instructions and no assistance once we were on site.This is a multi-family house, and the unit is located in the back on the ground level, directly next to the trash can for the entire house, which was piled up right outside the entrance. The unit gave strong basement-apartment vibes and was not as advertised. The listing states queen beds, but the room actually has two full beds pushed into one room, and the photos in the listing are not photos of the actual property.There were broken blinds, no dresser or drawers, harsh fluorescent lighting, mildew around the bathtub, and a fire alarm battery in the garage that was dying and beeping throughout our entire stay. The space was cleaned with extremely harsh chemical cleaners, the smell caused an instant headache, and we had to open all windows just to air it out.There is no sound insulation whatsoever. You can hear every step the tenants above take, along with their conversations and children running around, so clearly that it feels like a paper house."

"Use extreme caution if you choose to book with any one of the properties listed by this property manager. In over 10 years of using platforms like vrbo, we've never had an experience this chaotic. Our group arrived at the property with no check in instructions despite repeated requests, and someone else was already there. We called the host to learn that they had "a problem with the system" and they had to move us to another apartment 30 minutes away in Yonkers. That place didn't even have enough beds for our group. The next day we called the host again and the reason changed from "a problem with the system" to "we had an issue with one of the guests at a different property." our group then moved to yet another property that at least had enough beds for our group, but still was 30 mins away from our destination in Sleepy Hollow.We were promised a full refund, which would be reasonable. Fast forward a couple of weeks, and we hadn't received the refund. Some company reps kept hanging up the phone on us! Turns out there was an internal note with the host company to not refund us. They told both vrbo and us that we would be refunded. We had to escalate this on vrbo to hold them accountable and get our 1600 refund a month after we stayed.Our trip was supposed to be a relaxing getaway for our group of friends, but it was far more chaotic than we had planned and spent too long on the phone trying to find an adequate place to stay. Too stressful. Stay somewhere nice."
