A nearly perfect combination of smart design, beautiful tropical hardwoods and skilled island stone work make this one of the prettiest places we have stayed. The view across the harbor and all the way to Virgin Gorda doesn’t hurt either. At almost any time of day, you can find a comfortable outside spot to sit and read, either in sun or shade.
Internet and cellular reception are good. The place is equipped with all of the basics, in good order. The owner is responsive and helpful and lives below. We spent a very comfortable ten days there.
But, if you need air-conditioning, cable TV, washer/dryer, dishwasher and a toaster, this place is not for you. As another reviewer mentioned, access requires negotiating about 30 steps and can be a challenge for those with mobility issues. We would definitely come back and maybe bring our own toaster.
