Welcome to Seabatical! From the moment you walk in the front door, you will know that this home is meant for relaxing island living, fun family vacations and a great place for a one-of-a-kind fishing trip.
The home is designed with easy access on one level and new handrails installed along the East stairwell to assist you as walk upstairs. This 5 bedroom, 5 bathroom home offers an open concept living room and two wings for plenty of guests to spread out and enjoy their space. Sleeping 14, with two twin rollaway beds and a sofa that sleeps two, this is a house that can host large gatherings. You will find all the comforts of home with new living room furniture and a new appliance in the fully stocked kitchen.
The west wing includes 3 king master's with ensuites, while the east wing has a king and a twin bedroom with a full hallway bathroom. Each bedroom comes equipped with a flat screened TV and generous closet space. If you have young children, the lamps in the twin bedroom have nightlight features.
When not indoors, enjoy the new furniture on the screened back porch with coastal breezes and views of the Gulf.
The recently renovated game room is a fantastic place for children and adults alike to enjoy a game of ping pong and is equipped with an outdoor shower and bathroom.
For those who enjoy your time on the beach; it is just a few minutes' walk to the beautiful white sand and emerald, green water. After you have spent time at the beach, come on back to Seabatical and relax by the private pool. The waterfall makes the pool area so very enjoyable and is great place for the children to splash and play.
If you are looking for a quiet spot, step out onto the front porch and enjoy the new landscaping as you overlook the bike path. While on the porch, notice the gates that close; a great space for your pets to breathe some fresh air while in an enclosed area.
If fishing is your passion, enjoy the large carport and driveway to park your boat. The fish cleaning station with water supply is ideal for cleaning the day’s catch. We are also pleased to help you with a boat or pontoon rental across the bridge in Eastpoint. If you need to purchase a fishing license or buy your bait or even having your fish cleaned, we can assist you as well.
For those of you who love boating, climb aboard and explore the many inlets, beaches and islands you can explore on a pontoon for a leisurely day.
Seabatical is just a short drive to the Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reserve, a prime area for inshore fishing, kayaking, and wildlife viewing. Redfish, trout and flounder are right in your backyard.
