I wanted to take my daughter on a quick little trip across the state to visit St Augustine on a mini vacay. I chose this hotel because they had good rates and the location wasn't too far from where we were going to see some of the attractions. Overall it was a pretty pleasant stay. It wasn't the nicest place I have ever stayed, but it worked for what we wanted. The room was fairly clean, but the bathroom was a bit gross. Specifically, the bathtub and the shower curtain were stained and dirty. There was rust on almost every piece of metal in the bathroom from the shower head to the shower curtain rod and the towel racks. They could definitely do with a little bit of renovating on the hardware in the rooms. We only got up early enough to catch breakfast on our last day and I was pleasantly surprised. They had scrambled eggs, sausage gravy & biscuits as well as a couple of cereal dispensers and a waffle maker that had a dispenser of two types of batter to make your own waffles. There was a coffee machine, a juice machine with 3 juices and a jug of milk in a mini fridge. It wasn't a bad selection of breakfast items. Overall, it was a pleasant stay but the hotel definitely needs some work to freshen it up a little bit. I would stay there again if I am in the area.

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the noise. We were in room 101 and the people in the next room kept slamming doors and talking very loudly. The TV was very loud, walking in front of my door and yelling. I practically didn't rest at all. But other than that, everything was very good with the hotel. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the breakfast was hot. I would stay there again.

At first I was optimistic about the property, the lobby was clean and there was no deposit required if a debit or credit card is used during check in. The rooms were recently renovated and the were clean for the most part however the floor was filthy and my grandsons knees are hands were dirty after crawling on the floor for five minutes. I could feel sand underneath my feet. The Air conditioner worked, barely but when it was turned down to 70 degrees, the room definitely did not cool off. On the

DO NOT STAY HERE

For one the pool was not open like they advertised then when we got to our room they tried to give someone else our room my kids turned the tv on and PORN was playing on the tv when we went to the beach the next day when we came back all out stuff was gone out of our room they said it was there mistake they thought we checked out ???? When I clearly paid for two night I got my stuff back but it was all mixed up and a mess the cops were there the whole time definitely will never be going back to this hotel ever again

While easy access off I95, trees blocked seeing the entrance the first time by. We had to turn around to find the entrance. Staff was not very communicative and not accessible.

Fabulous when you leave

Really disappointed!!! Worse than a motel 6 approximately $145 a night and 😱. Window dirty, front door paint missing inside, light fixtures rusted, tv remote doesn’t work , tv no volume, bathtub wouldn’t take shower look 👀 like gross. Decided not to go breakfast to scared. Etc …

NOPE! Plenty of nicer ones in the area!

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The place was dirty and the towels were so old I would be embarrassed to donate them to Goodwill! When we first checked in, the front desk clerk gave us keys to room 210. When we got to the room and opened the door, there was clearly someone staying in the room as there were clothes and such everywhere! We had to go BACK to the front desk and she was on the phone and I had to stand there and wait for a good 15 minutes. I told her the room was occupied and she seemed like she didn't believe me. When we did get into our new room 216, the place was dirty and so old. For example, cigarette burns on the bathtub, cracked bathroom sink, paint all over trim, bedspreads that were stained and threadbare, fingerprints all over mirrors/picture, food still in fridge from person before, toilet that barely flushed, etc. The next morning I went down for breakfast. It was seriously BARE BONES and signs everywhere "Do not take food back to your room." There was no coffee. This was pointed out to the front desk clerk who just ignored it. Next, housekeeping came to the room. My husband told him we didn't need any service but could we please have 2 towels (since the ones in the room were absolutely horrible). My husband was informed we could only have 1! When we got back to the room that night, our keys didn't work. We had to again go down to the front desk to a different clerk and get new keys as they were not programmed right.

Save your time and money

This hotel was awful, especially for the price. The breakfast was never refilled and cleaned up promptly by 10am. The ice machine is broken. It never had ice in the evening or the morning. I was there two nights and no one made the bed. I was lucky to get clean towels because i was there when they knocked and the shiwer stuff did not have what was labeled on the container. Everything was a cheap soap.

Go Kevin Go!!!!

The front desk agent Kevin was absolutely amazing. I work in hotels before and I know that trying to accommodate everyone needs can be a job in its self. However Kevin was able to accommodate me and my family's needs. We also got locked out of one of our rooms and Kevin went above and beyond and brought our keys to us so we didn't have to make that walk all the way back to the front deck. It may not seem like a big deal but when you have been traveling for hours and you finally get to that spot and it's time to unwind and then your room key doesn't work it can easily turn into a stressful moment. I have stayed other places and the key didn't work and the front agent could have been accommodating but they had chosed not to be. I just want to say "Thank you Kevin"! Keep up the great work.
