My family have been staying at Spanish Trace since the early 1970s, and this visit was great as always. The unit is nicely updated, decorated and equipped. We prepared a large birthday dinner for family one evening, and found the kitchen very suitable to the task. The view from the balcony is also delightful. I would definitely recommend this unit and would visit again. The owner’s communication is also very good.

Terrific condo! Updated, clean, and well-stocked. Having the bedrooms upstairs made it feel spacious. Having things like beach chairs, boogie boards, and beach towels was also a nice touch. The complex and pool area is quiet and nice. The beach wasn't overly crowded. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful and comfy stay at the beach

From check in to check out this was a magnificent experience! Even though there was one hiccup upon arrival, I still rated our stay 5 stars because the host was phenomenal to work with! They were extremely quick to respond and rectify the situation. Our kids fell in love with the beach and pool—we fell in love with the historical downtown vibe that St. Augustine provided. This was a memorable stay for us and we will definitely return!

My Daughter and I enjoyed our stay here. Loved the fact that amenities were provided such as towels, kitchen supplies etc. Fabulous when you are flying in and traveling light. Communication with host was quick and detailed. Highly recommend! Enjoyed Tybee! 178 steps to the top of the light house, worth it! Beaches , amazing, local coffee shops are fabulous!

We had an absolute blast on our trip! This condo is in a perfect location. We struggled pulling our wagon of stuff down to the beach on the narrow path but when I saw you could drive that was the way to go, no more wagon pulling! The condo is clean, the pool is big and very clean as well. If we ever come back to St.Augustine we will stay here again!!

Great getaway

We loved our stay, the unit was just as described. The owner did a great job of having little extras that were nice to have (dish soaps, spices, sandwich bags, extra towels, beach towels, chairs, sand toys, extra blankets, just nice touches you don't think about but are grateful for when they are there. Furniture and beds were comfortable and everything was clean and worked well. We would absolutely stay again!

Great little Condo

We loved the location. Close to good restaurants and kayaking activities. The beach was amazing. Not overly crowded in this section of the beach and a perfect short walk. The property was very well stocked with towels, extra blankets, and kitchen items. Beds were comfortable and has amazing upgrades throughout. Only thing that would be helpful is a list of restaurants they would recommend as there are a lot around. Great spot and would stay again.

Lovely vacation!

Our experience was great, we really enjoyed our stay. The property and beach is beautiful and peaceful. The condo is comfortable, nicely renovated, and very well equipped. Nice beach chairs, kitchen is stocked, even a baby gate for the stairs. Our kids enjoyed the board games and pickle ball. Location is good. The drive to downtown and most attractions was close enough, about 10-15 mins. It would have been more convenient to have washer/dryer, but it’s available on the property so not a big deal. Overall really loved our stay and would stay here again.

Awesome place and location!

Condo is newly remodeled- bright, beachy, cozy and had some nice amenities like k cups, lots of beach towels, cool beach chairs, pickleball racquets. So close to the beach was awesome! We walked on the beach and watched the sun set each day from the comfy captains chairs on the balcony. Pool and grounds are beautiful and well kept. Loved seeing the sunrise from bed. Owners were easy to contact and very friendly and responsive. We loved being so close to downtown St. Augustine. Love the condo and location, we will be back again. Thanks!

Late summer getaway

Great location. It was overlooking the pool and could sit on the balcony and watch the ocean. The condo was cute and beachy. It was also close to Publix and a short drive to downtown. The only negatives were the code to the condo was long. It’s a great thing my husband can easily remember numbers or I would have had to pull out my phone each time. The bed was also hard but it’s hard to please everyone. We would definitely look into staying there again.

We had a great stay. The unit had everything one would need to have a beach vacation. The beds were super comfy, and the owner was very responsive with answers to my questions. Everyone at the complex were very friendly & nice. I would recommend this home away from home & will hopefully be back ourselves. My only con was not having a vacuum because no matter how much you rinse off at the outdoor shower there is always some sand that makes its way back. And the lock can be a bit tricky but once you push in the door with your knee it locks and unlocks easier. Other than that, this place was awesome & we felt very comfortable. Loved the ceiling fans to circulate the air!

Beach Get away

Everything about booking and checking in to the unit was a breeze. 2 minute walk to powder soft white beaches and crystal clear water. Beach was never crowded and there were four folding chairs in unit that can go to the beach. Accommodations were as described, and kitchen was very well stocked with everything necessary to prepare a meal. Unit was also a few steps to a large pool featuring loungers and tables with umbrellas. There was a Publix about a mile away and lots of local seafood joints within a 2 to 5 mile drive. Will definitely book this unit again.
