This is a beautiful resort and well maintained. The staff was very accommodating. I used the pool and newly opened day spa after a fun day of golfing. Both of them were nice and relaxing. The breakfast had everything that you would want to eat. I ate at Braxton’s for dinner one night which was excellent!! I highly recommend this resort!

The bathroom was oddly configured because of being an older historical building. The bedroom was large but the bathroom was snug. Staff were amazing!!!the food at their restaurants was delicious. Highly recommend this hotel for families especially ones with furry peeps. Walkable to downtown but shuttle is provided.

Loved our time there, the property is lovely and the staff were very kind. The pet policy is a bit rigid in some ways and lax in others but we made it work. The room was beautiful but getting it cleaned was a challenge. The location is excellent and overall we can’t wait to return.

Overall, the hotel was nice and had good amenities. The facilities were maintained well and there was quite a lot to enjoy. However, the service at the breakfast buffet was poor, as the waitress would sometimes arrive late and was not very attentive. Improving the breakfast service and catering would make the overall experience much better.

Amazing Classic Style Hotel under the auspices of Marriott! A BIG WOW! Beautiful outside and in. Marriott reportedly put 30 million into the Grand Old Lady. Rooms are small but have been upgraded including the bathrooms with the heated floors. Restaurant, Pub and Breakfast area’s amazing. Make sure you make reservations for the restaurant ahead of your stay. This hotel has both an outdoor and an indoor heated pool with a kids tubular slide on the indoor pool. Staff were so helpful friendly and courteous. This hotel is situated on a hill within the cute town of St Andrew’s New Brunswick. We will be back!

We were greeted by friendly luggage porters in kilts to this beautiful historic resort who loaded up our large suitcases on carts and once checked in, the porter delivered them to our room. We had a nicely decorated room with a large smart tv and a very comfortable king bed. We ate at the pub the first evening and the food and service was exceptional. Dinner was followed by a ghost tour at 9 pm which was a lot of fun and provided some history of the hotel. We ate breakfast in the main dining room both mornings and I ordered the omelette with a fruit bowl - best omelette I can remember eating, so had it the second morning too. My husband used the indoor pool and hot tub but I decided to relax in the room after a busy day. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Our stay at the Algonquin was spectacular. The entire resort is beautiful and clean from top to bottom. The staff were exceptional and were always there to help with any questions or requests. Our room was beautifully decorated, clean and had everything to make our stay very comfortable. Everything at this resort is at an upgraded level. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend it to anyone looking for beautiful accommodations in a beautiful town
