Good country pub motel, rooms very clean, bathroom surprisingly large. Good pub food and great cold beer available at the tavern. Great stay when travelling.

Many exterior lights not working so I had to find the room with torch, access card didn't work but I had a key to open the room, when I got inside the access control was dismantled on the inside. The aircon remote was broken and had to be held together to change from cool to heat on this cold winter night. The bathroom was mouldy and the final obscenly small yet disturbing detail was one of the cookie twin packs had been opened and a cookie removed, was the room even cleaned after the last guest?

Miners camped outside our room and kept as awake all night inconsiderate to any ones needs staying their . I realise this motel relies on the miners to make money and in most cases saturday is their only night off but yake it esle where not under the window of paying guest

Gecko poo throughout room and bathroom. Decor very dated and stained. Pillows are old and discoloured. Bathroom floor became flooded when showering. Carpet needs a good deep clean.

The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable the only issue was the aircon did have a heat mode and the blankets wernt suitable for the cold night. Even with the extra blanket in the bed it was a very cold night.

Limited dining: We found only one set of cutlery, one bowl, one plate - for 2 people We also found a big note attached to cupboard that IF we used the dishes we should wash them using a sachet dishwasher and a sponge that was in a cupboard. The note was signed; The Dooly’s Management Team We did not know if the previous occupant washed the plates, cutlery; There is no kitchen sink to was it properly; Maybe in a little vanity in bathroom? It sucks! We decided not to use them at all; … Outside was only one chair (no table) for two of us 😀

Great price. Easily accessible rooms. Practical plan. Service at restaurant was great. Very quick. Some food a bit tasteless. Submitted request form for breakfast the next morning but was told next morning that they had no requests. There were other people's breakfast request forms in the same tray so guess those people missed out too. Unfortunately we were on our way south and there wasn't anywhere else to eat for hours. Thank goodness we had some other bits and pieces to eat in the car. Bathroom seemed a bit grotty...shower floor a bit slimy with mouldy grout as so often the case in hotels. Toilet was a bit dirty here and there and toilet paper roll was already half used. No lamps which was a bit of a pain. Wine glasses were very dusty and light in cupboard/ kitchen section didn't turn on.

A clean and comfy stopover . The room was well provided except our aircon was not working and the morning was extremely cold!
