Uns hat die Unterkunft sehr gut gefallen. Die Lage ist toll, alles zu Fuß erreichbar, wenn man aus der Tür geht ist man mitten im Geschehen. Natürlich wussten wir das es keinen Fahrstuhl gibt, ist aber bei einem so alten Gebäude auch zu erwarten, für uns war das ok. Unser Flug war sehr früh und wir durften sogar früher einchecken was ebenfalls super war, ansonsten kann man aber wenigstens das Gepäck vorher abgeben was für uns ebenfalls in Ordnung gewesen wäre. Es war ein schöner Aufenthalt in dieser Unterkunft, für uns gibt es nichts negatives zu sagen, Top! 👍

Lovely characterful room in central apartment block, ideally located for Split Old Town. Quirky entrance through art gallery. Keep the windows closed at night as it can get quite noisy in the morning from 5am as the street sweepers work and the shops re-stock. Air conditioned.

The property was very clean, stylish and comfortable. It was situated right in the heart of the old town centre with the attractions within 2-10 minutes walk, including the sea resort. Plenty of shops, bars, restutaunts and Atm machines at your doorstep. It was convient as there is a Spar supermarket opposite the hotel, so very handy if you want to save on money and prepare your own breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hotel room is equipped with a small fridge to store food, however it would have been handy if there was a kettle in the room to make hot drinks. The hotel is 5-7 minutes walk from the Bus station, where you can pick up a shuttle bus directly from the airport to the Splitz Town centre. The only downside is that the hotel is situated in a old building (the entrance is through an lovely art gallery) , so there is no elevator and you have climb 3 fights of stairs. There is no front reception staff, however the staff were very helpful and provided their mobile contact so you could What's App arrange to arrange a time to meet at the hotel to hand over the keys.I arrived into Splitz 3 hours before the book time, and Marko kindly arranged with his colleague for me to pick up my keys and drop my bags off early. All in all very pleased with my stay, particularly given it was my first trip to Croatia. The local people are helpful and friendly too!

There is nothing alike to the photos of the property, is in the 4th floor, no elevator, view to other propierty, air conditioning didn't work and nobody fix it, there is nobody from the property in place so the firl in the gallery downstairs needs to call them, very hard to close the door and you need to have 2 keys one for the main entrance shares with other people and ine you arribe upstairs to the fooor where they have the rooms, the guy who do the check in tells you ge will send any information you need but as a good teenager he bever does.

We werden netjes op tijd opgehaald op de luchthaven en de dag van vertrek vanuit Split naar de luchthaven gebracht. Hotel locatie is perfect. Groene kamer was precies zoals beschreven en op de foto’s. Eerste nacht konden we niet slapen door een krakende bed en een riool lucht welke uit ons badkamer kwam. Marko reageerde altijd snel en keurig op mijn vragen via whatsapp berichten. Krakende bed werd de volgende dag gemaakt, top! Helaas had ik niet de review van 2017 gelezen over de riool geur gelezen. Kamer werd niet elke dag schoon gemaakt. Echter, een groot compliment voor de schoonmaakster. Ons kamer werd perfect schoon gemaakt. Airco werkte ook prima.

The rooms were very nice, clean and well appointed. Beds and bedding were comfortable. The host Marko was very friendly and helpful. He gave us suggestions for restaurants and where to spend the day as well as providing a ride to the airport early in the morning. Location was convenient, walkable from ferry, right in the middle of shops and restaurants and close to old town.

Perfect hotel in Split
The hotel was in the heart of Old Town with easy access to all attractions and restaurants. The room was great, updated...bright and cheerful. The owner was awesome...picked us up and settled us in our room. Couldn't ask for better service!

Beautiful property in the very heart of the old town. Gorgeous building near amenities and effortless access to all of Split’s best sites. Marko is wonderful and collected me from the airport. A family business conducted with kindness and professionalism. The gallery is only an asset, romantic and special. Look for the beautiful green door for entry.

The room didn't look anything like the picture (picture showed a four poster bed but the room we got didnt even have a headboard). The location was great and check in was pretty easy. However, we were woken up all hours of the night by the drunk person who kept coming and going in the room next to ours. The walls are very thin so we could hear everything. Overall, the room was very clean and in a great location but our stay was spoiled by the person next door and the picture should be more realistic when booking.

When we arrived Marko picked us up from the airport, gave great advice & tips about where to go to have lesser crowd(big touristic spots) and told us a lot about Croatia! If you are looking for a place in the center of Split Old Town, this is the perfect place! We loved our location. We also thought it was cute to walk through a little gallery to find our appartment. Also bus and ferry to other spots are super easy to reach, only 5 min walk. Again thanks Marko for everything, You were super helpful!

Old town charm
This place is a great location for the old town vibe. It's off a side alley so not loud at all. The A/C unit works great. And the place was clean. Within walking distance to all you want to do. Only "downsides" if you can even call it that would be ni elevator if you have any kind of handicap.

Ei voi suositella, huono hinta-laatusuhde. Huone oli pieni, mutta hyvässä kunnossa ja siisti. Parveketta ei ollutkaan kuten ilmoituksessa oli mainittu. Olimme 2 yötä, 3 päivää. Siivooja kävi vain kerran eikä tehnyt muuta kuin vaihtoi pyyhkeet, ei edes imuroinut. Kylpyhuoneessa oli varsinkin iltaisin inhottavan vahva viemärin ja tupakan haju. Omistajaa ei kiinnostanut. Hyvä sijainti vanhan kaupungin ytimessä.
