Check in is at 3pm and no one was there. I waited until 3:40pm with two other couples before the manager/owner/clerk arrive to check us in. No explanation or apology of any kind was offered. The man spoke very little German or English which made it worse. He acted as though he was doing us a big favor just by being there. After we checked-in I went back to the office to ask for an extra set of towels. The man demanded to know why and looked at me like I was going to steal them. Reluctantly he gave me the towels. The room was very nice, but the carpets needed to be replaced and the shower was moldy. The breakfast was ok but very limited and their on-site restaurant was closed for the season. Finally, the stay was overpriced even though the location was great.

The hotel reception is open only for 8-6 & the owner expects everyone stay back or come early to meet him for checkin... The hotel is very old , well maintained but it's bare minimum .. & at 250/night you expect much better quality & service . Also there is no elevator . I dont know if the bedsheets were changed frequently as I got dust allergy both mornings after waking up. The breakfast again opens only at 8 which is too late & we could not use it either of the 2 nights we stayed there. You want to wake up & get out early for seeing places & not wait for a breakfast that opens at 8.

It was a great stay. Perfect location with a beautiful lake across the street and very close to the bus stop that can take you straight to the train station. The host is great, and the breakfast is so great - lots of options!
