Enjoy a stay at the Historic L Rancho Motel in Spearfish! You'll be staying in the original Managers Quarters, that just received some retro updates! Centrally located within walking distance to Downtown dining and shopping, only blocks from Spearfish Creek, and right off the main drag through town, this apartment is the PERFECT spot to base all your explorations from!

The property is an old motel that has been transformed into a great base for your adventures while in the Black Hills! In the Managers Quarters of the L Rancho there is a full kitchen, dining room, and living room in addition to the bedroom. This is a great place to spread out and relax during your trip!

We will be available by messaging, call, or text at any time!

The neighborhood is very safe and quiet.

Needs a few updates
Tracy was very great to work with as a host! But we noticed some things that need to be improved upon. The mattress is pretty dated as is the sheets(had nubbies); the bathroom door was difficult to get closed shut and had to be opened by pulling on the top of the door because it sticks; the TV/internet was frustrating for us. We would love to have had a coffee pot available to make coffee with along with an updated Keurig; we had a complete stranger knock on our door several times one early evening- she still thought this was a motel and wanted a room; the signage should be changed on the door to reflect a VRBO; there was no shower soap available or basic kitchen condiments like salt and pepper. And the unit smelled musty the whole time. It WAS a good location to the community however. And of course we love the Spearfish Community!

Historic Hotel Stay
Staying in Spearfish is mu place of choice during the Sturgis Rally. It was quiet and clean. The property is exactly as listed.

This was a perfect place for us to stay since it was within walking distance to City Park where I caught the bus and then completed the Spearfish half marathon. This was a retro vibe prior motel office space which was very clean.
